YouTube Hallyu Vlogger and content creator Sydney Davis (aka SYDtheKID) was recently interviewed by Tyler Jones for Riffs and Rhymes. Sydney joined the MACG Community in October 2018 and assumes the role of Managing Editor of Look & Hue, a developing online hub for fashion commentary and thematic ensembles. Look & Hue is the newest media asset of MACG Productions.

Her interview is featured in the November 26 article entitled, “K-pop and the Eastern Wave: Is the West Ready?” and explores both the author and her opinions and developing knowledge about the Korean entertainment industry. More particularly, native Chicagoan Sydney has lived and worked in Daegu, South Korea for the greater portion of a year and was sought out by Jones as ” someone that has a foot in both American and Korean culture.”

The music blog was founded by Roberto Johnson and creates conversations around the diversity of music and its universal impact. Read more about her and the author’s thoughts about Korean media and its growth around the world on Riffs and Rhymes.
