During the week of January 20, 2019 Asian Drama Watch launched to fill the void left behind when popular video streaming site DramaFever departed from the Internet late last year. Asian Drama Watch was established by Sara Layne (Young Ajummah), a former contributor to DramaFever and avid Korean drama watcher. Sara has been a MACG Community member since the company’s founding year.

When asked about the new online database — which will be updated weekly — Sara confesses that it is a labor of love. “I created Asian Drama Watch to help ease the pain of finding your next drama without the worry of a virus destroying [your computer].” With this is mind, the website recommends various platforms where one can find where to legally and phishing-free watch Asian dramas. “I remember messing up a few computers trying to watch stuff back in the beginning of the drama wave, so I know the struggle,” she shares.

Although the site is currently populated with Korean drama resources, Sara is determined to add options for Chinese, Thai and Japanese dramas in the future.

Visit the website to learn more and consider buying Sara a coffee with Ko-Fi for her efforts.
